Good News Portland! is the idea of Bob Cott and Sam Surprise, two old advertising dogs who still have a few tricks up their collective sleeves.  It came about one day when we were discussing all the good things we were experiencing or hearing about going on in the Portland area but were not being reported by the local press.

Granted, much of this is not newsworthy in the truest sense, but in times like these, we felt people should know that Portland is still alive, still kickin, still the place for entertainment, great dining experiences and lots, lots more.
